Italian Flavor

“All roads lead to Rome”. Italy is one of the most universally desirable countries in the world. There is more than one reason which makes people from all over the world want to visit it. However, when visiting Rome, don´t forget to taste the famous Italian ice-cream, gelato.

They are all made with real fruits and ingredients. You must go to Italian gelaterias, where you can buy the frozen treat gelato and experience the best refrigerated sensations. Roman ice-cream is also well-known for its high ly creamy taste and soft texture.

History
There are two possible theories of how Gelato was first created. The first one claims that Emperor Nero started this dessert in the ancient Rome. Nero ordered his slaves to look for snow and they mixed it with honey to make a dessert. Besides, he added fruits, leaves and spices to the mixture.
The second theory suggest that the adventurer Marco Polo brought it from the Far East to Europe. It was said that Asian citizens used this recipe from water ice.

Gelato
