Skiing Europe (Part I)

There is no better experience than skiing in Europe, particularly in Europe´s Alps. This belt of mountain chains extends from Slovenia in the east clear across the heart of Europe to France and there are hundreds of ski resorts of stunning beauty, size and diversity terrains to ski. The mountains in Europe are simply big, rugged, inspiring and soaring. A true paradise for skiing lovers.

If you want to feel an unforgettable skiing experience in Europe and taste many different cultures( Austro-German, Swiss-German, French-German, French and Italian), start packaging your ski equipment and put your boots on. I have selected the best European places for a desirable ski trip.

Tignes(France)
This ski area is appealing due to its wide terrain completely snowed. Lots of accommodation offered close to the slopes and good snow during long seasons. Tignes and Val d'Isère together form the enormous Espace Killy. This is an incredible winter sport recreation playground where skiers and boarders love to go.

Les Deux Alpes(France)
This area is really well-known because of the winter and summer seasons. Winter is perfect for freeride skiing and the summer comes alive with a worldwide famous boardpark on the glacier attracting those skiers who love freestyle.

Nowhere else in the French Alps has such a variety of clubs, pubs, and après-ski fun. Nights out are fabulous and Les Deux Alpes is lively with varied activity and great skiing the whole day.

Zell Am See(Austria)
It offers about 80 miles of local slopes, with beginner, intermediate and advanced categories all well represented. Although Zell am See is an unusual ski resort it has charming views down to the lake. It is situated in the province of Salzburg and it is surrounded of glacier mountains.
